When an Old House Won’t Let You Sleep: Energy Clearing in the Sudetenland—Part 2

In the second part of this energy clearing in the Sudetenland, I perceived the stories of more souls who seemed bound to the house. Patterns of power, pain, guilt, and unfinished love emerged, which I experienced as connected with the current owner and the atmosphere of her home.

When an Old House Won’t Let You Sleep: Energy Clearing in the Sudetenland—Part 2

A Story from My Practice: Exhaustion, Sleeplessness, and an Unresolved Past

The Next Stage: Eight Souls Remain

When I first attuned to the house, I sensed 11 souls. In this second stage of the clearing, I perceived a group of eight remaining souls.

The first to make himself known was a man, Josef. I saw him standing in the yard in rubber boots and a flannel shirt. He regarded the current owner as just another servant in the house.

The others in this group were women, along with a boy of about 17 whose energy felt feminine to me. Josef said the house belonged to him. He claimed to be its third owner and described the original owners as mere laborers and his subjects.

Josef: 1941 and His World

Asked when he had last been alive, he answered, “1941.” He stood in the yard with geese running around him. His energy felt enormous, almost like a giant’s.

He treated the servant women around him as possessions. Martin was there, too, afraid of Josef, hiding and keeping out of sight. Josef was unsure whether Martin was a boy or a girl. He watched him and did not want him there, yet regarded him as “fresh meat.”

He saw the women as used up. Martin was someone new.

I perceived Josef as bound to the spot where he stood—in the garden, near the door, beside a concrete grave. From there, he could watch everything. He said soldiers had stormed the property, killed everyone, and occupied the house. He guarded the grave, afraid it might be German.

Violence, Death, and Attachment

Josef said the soldiers had taken his property and killed him. He still guarded the grave, watching Martin and the women. He exploited them whenever he pleased.

In the scene he described, soldiers destroyed everything and took the women away. Josef insisted they were his. He ran toward them and was killed. Afterward, he watched from above as a soul.

He stayed beside the grave of his wife, whom he had loved.

One of the servant women had made him a promise. Begging for his love, she promised to stay with him forever—a love beyond the grave. All the souls regarded him as an authority.

The soldiers dragged the women toward the gate and killed them.

Losing His Wife and Closing Off His Feelings

I saw Josef’s wife lying in bed, ill and weak, feeling unwell in the house. He held her hand as she died.

Josef had “fought” with her and with the other souls. After her death, he laid her in the grave. Then he boarded up the house and lived in the pigsty, isolated and emotionally shut down, with only the servant women in the yard.

He used one of them for sex, venting his anger and frustration.

He sat on his wife’s grave, broken and full of remorse. He had cared for one of the servant women—the one who promised to stay with him.

The Moment of Death and a New Understanding

The soldiers dragged them away. Josef tried to help but fell to the ground. He saw soldiers at the gate. He died feeling powerless.

A gunshot to the heart, followed by pain in his abdomen from a rifle bayonet. I perceived his soul leaving his body and seeing that everyone was dead.

All he could see were bodies.

He sat on a bench beside the grave and spoke to his wife. He realized he had loved the servant woman, too. He began to acknowledge Martin as well.

He relived his death: gunfire, pain, blood, falling. A soldier pinned him down with a boot and stabbed him.

Energy clearing in a house

He heard the servant woman scream as she was hurt. She died. He wanted to be with her and promised never to forget her.

He was deeply afraid for everyone. He was no longer putting on an act. His feelings were real.

He sat on the bench with the servant woman and spoke to his wife. He felt guilty, believing everything had happened as punishment for finding another woman.

Today, a garden and roses stand where I perceived the grave.

The Second Soul: Josef’s Wife

I sensed her cramped and hidden in the chimney, terrified that someone would find her.

We revisited her final day. She lay in bed, afraid of the other souls. She saw her husband holding her hand and begged him to carry her away. She was cold, weak, and exhausted.

She described being unable to sleep for a long time because of the energies in the house. They had lived there for seven years. As evening fell, she drifted to sleep and died.

Her soul left her body, but she did not realize she was dead. She saw her husband without understanding that he had carried her body away.

She hid in the stove and chimney, moving up and down. She thought no one would find her. She also believed no one would save her, because no one could see her.

A Message for the Current Owner

The message I received from this soul for the owner was clear:

You can rest.
You can be at peace.
You do not have to keep running.

She saw the owner constantly running away, as she herself once had. She urged her not to reach the same point of complete exhaustion.

The message was that the owner could now allow herself to sleep peacefully.

Bringing the Clearing to a Close

The soul wanted to walk through the house, understand the connections, and see her husband one last time.

Together, the souls revisited their stories, found forgiveness, and reached a sense of closure. 💚

When Might You Consider an Energy Clearing for Your Home?

You may be drawn to this work if you experience the following in your home:

  • Persistent fatigue
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Tension without an obvious cause
  • A sense that the space feels “heavy”
  • Recurring difficulties since moving in

In my practice, an energy clearing is intended to release old stories, bring a sense of harmony to a space, and invite peace back into the home.
