A story from my space-clearing practice: an old house where I perceived souls and heavy energy that had remained for centuries. Following the clearing, the owner experienced a lighter atmosphere, less stagnation, new opportunities, greater peace, and renewed hope of finally selling the house.

With my client’s kind permission, I am sharing another story from my practice.

Souls Who Waited Three Hundred Years: Love, Death, and Forgiveness in an Old House

Part Two: Two Nuns, a Great Love, Betrayal, and a Promise

In the first part of this story, I perceived the fate of Albert, his family, and a coachman, whose souls had remained connected to the house after a tragic event. After they moved on, however, another story emerged in my awareness.

I sensed another group of souls in the house. This time, the story involved forbidden love, betrayal, and a promise that seemed to have held them there for centuries.

Forbidden Love in a Convent

In the story that unfolded during the session, a nun named Klára lived in a convent. She secretly met Martin, a potter, in the small cottage where he worked, making pots and vases. Gradually, they became lovers, although both knew that her vows forbade it.

They continued to meet and make love in secret.

Klára was about twenty-one, but she seemed more like a sixteen-year-old girl.

She shared her secret with a friend who was also a nun. She told her she loved Martin and that they were secretly lovers. Her friend betrayed her confidence and told the sisters at the convent.

They locked Klára in a narrow room in a tower, with small windows. She spent five months there.

During her confinement, her belly began to grow, and she realized she was pregnant. She tried to hide it, but the sisters already knew. They decided to burn her at the stake as a warning to the others.

Death at the Stake

When the sisters came for her, they led her to a courtyard with a cross and a pyre. They tied her to the stake. Klára felt pain, fear, and betrayal. What hurt most was knowing that her unborn baby would die with her.

Smoke filled the air, and she could not breathe.

She began to lose consciousness and slowly died. In the scene I perceived, her soul was outside her body, but she did not yet understand that she had died.

She called for help, but no one heard her.

Great love, happiness, betrayal, suffering, and death all came together in a single event.

The Fate of Martin the Potter

Klára’s soul immediately went to Martin. He was desperately searching for her but could not find her. Soon after her execution, he was attacked, dragged to an abandoned house, and locked in a small, cold room with barred windows.

He was given food only once. Then he was left in the cold and dirt. He struggled to breathe, his body ached, and he gradually lost hope. Lying on the cold floor, he slowly died.

After his death, he saw Klára’s soul and the soul of their child. At first, he was happy to see her. Then immense pain followed as he realized that all three of them were dead.

They decided to remain together as souls in that house, where no one would ever find them. They felt they would be safe there.

Another Soul in the House

Another nun emerged in the story. She too had loved Martin deeply. On the day of the burning, she was locked in a room from which she witnessed Klára’s entire execution. Unable to help her, she lived with agonizing remorse over betraying her friend.

In what I perceived, after her death she tried to find Klára and Martin to apologize. Her soul also remained in the house, but in a different room. They knew of one another’s presence but could not see each other.

Forgiveness and Moving into the Light

During the space-clearing session, I perceived all the souls coming together. There were apologies and forgiveness, and a release of old promises and bonds.

Only then did they seem free to move into the light.

When Old Stories Seem to Linger in a Space

For me, this story reflects the way strong emotions, promises, or unfinished relationships can seem to linger in a home, shaping its atmosphere and the experience of the people who live there.

In my experience, forgiveness and the release of old attachments can be accompanied by changes in the feeling of a house and in the lives of its residents.

Space clearing and helping souls move on are part of how I work with these stories, seeking a sense of closure and peace for the space.

Stories like this have shaped my understanding of how deeply the energy of a space can affect our lives. In my spiritual practice, I sometimes perceive connections between unresolved events or souls attached to a place and experiences such as stagnation, recurring difficulties, trouble selling a house, or a heavy atmosphere.

My intention in space clearing and helping souls move on is to release these old impressions and invite peace, lightness, and a natural flow of energy back into the home.

If something in your home feels stuck, you may feel drawn to explore the energy of the space more deeply.
